Rehydration Lemonade

With summer around the corner, it’s time to start stocking your fridge with hydrating and healthy beverages. Consider this recipe your balancing and rejuvenating sports drink, without the funky neon colors and artificial flavorings.

It’s the perfect hydrating break when you need an electrolyte boost - after a workout, outdoor adventures or day at the beach.


(Serves 2-4)

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 cups warm water

  • 1/2 cup lemon juice

  • 2 tbsp maple syrup

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric

  • 1/4 teaspoon pink himalayan salt

DIRECTIONS

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large quart-sized mason jar. Seal with lid and shake well to dissolve the maple syrup and salt.

  2. Place in the fridge to allow flavors to infuse and chill before drinking.

  3. Will keep for 2-3 days sealed in the fridge.
